My Absence, and the Future of this Website

I have been away for some time, for reasons that are obvious to previous readers of this website. In essence, I pushed forward too fast because I didn't have any patience, which resulted in my running with information that was incorrect. Ironically, those around my in the faith, including my grandmother, have an abundance of patience, and I don't think that is coincidence.

For those who are new, in my impatience and ego (in terms of wanting this site to grow), I had posted some articles which turned out to be false. Although these posts have been taken down, they have not been deleted. My purpose in taking them down is not to cover over my own sin, but rather not to allow it to be a distraction for people who can still benefit from this website.

I want to make it clear that while the content of some of the blog posts on this site was false, the main articles remain intact, and the material contained within them remains sound. Also, I remain convinced that the larger message that I brought to e-watchman remains a witness to him.

I am in the process of cleaning house (not just concerning this website, but within my own personal life as well), and, Jehovah willing, I would like to start writing for this website again. Unlike previously, however, I will not be pushing forward like I did last time with the intention of getting as much information up as I can. Instead, if I say I'm going to do something, or would like to do something, and it doesn't work out, I'm going to rely on Jehovah and trust that whatever needs to get out there will, on his own timeline.

One of the first articles I would like to write is concerning a commentary I made on a youtube video a while back concerning whether or not the 144,000 is a literal number (spoiler alert: it is!). We'll see how that goes and take it from there.

Where Is Your Brotherly Love?

Where Is Your Brotherly Love?

Robert King posted a heart-breaking story on his website on June 1, 2016. It was a commentary on today's daily text, and he used the opportunity to link a blog post about an elderly Witness by the name of Carol Ramos. This sister has stage 4 ovarian cancer and her congregations (both present and past) seem to have abandoned her in her time of need. Here is an excerpt from the blog post:

New Blog

Just a quick note for RSS subscribers. We have created a new blog to address readers' questions and comments in a public forum. It can be found here, along with our first email response. Note that we will not post emails or responses publicly without prior permission, and when posting responses, we will not include identifying information unless specifically requested to do so.

My Story (Finally)

Well, it's been a while. Certainly longer than I would have liked, but we've finally got it finished. My story has finally been posted and can be found here. As indicated in my last post about this article, my story reveals aspects of Jehovah's qualities that have been misunderstood by people for far too long. The purpose of me posting the story is not about me or my life, but about revealing Jehovah's compassion, love, and other qualities, as they have been expressed in my own life.

It should be noted that this is just the beginning. There will be at least one other follow up to my story, and any further articles with revelations about God's qualities will be put in the folder "Jehovah's Qualities Revealed."  The next follow-up to my story is already well underway (in fact, it's almost ready to publish, but we will wait a week until publishing it.)

Also, as a side note, the top of the page is beginning to get crowded, so I am rearranging the the links available in the main navigation at the top of the page, and putting stuff like the link to the home page and the "side projects" in the secondary navigation at the bottom of the page in order to prevent the main navigation from contracting on full-size screens. If you see the contracted version of the navigation at the top on a full-size screen and it looks awkward, please let me know, I'll try to clean it up some more.

My Story

A while ago, we published an article entitled "Biblical Doctrine," whose purpose is two-fold: (1) to reaffirm the doctrinal beliefs we still hold true from Jehovah's Witnesses, and to introduce those beliefs to those who have never been associated with Jehovah's Witnesses.

Besides that one article, the focus of the articles on this website have largely been about unraveling Biblical prophecy. Especially where it has to do with Jehovah's people.

The next article we plan on releasing has a slightly more personal touch. It is the story of my life (Tara) and my spiritual journey. We have mentioned before in various places that we believe that these articles will form a part of the new scrolls to be opened up (Revelation 12:12). This story is no exception. The story of my life, that we plan on posting shortly, will reveal new things about the nature of Jehovah God, and the very depths of his love. While Jehovah's Witnesses take it upon themselves to decide who is worthy of being baptized and accepted into Jehovah's house, this is not the way that Jehovah meant it, because only Jehovah can read a person's heart. I am in a unique position to illustrate the stark contrast between the judgments of men and the judgements of Jehovah. The reason for this will be revealed when the article is published. My story also illustrates the depths of Jehovah's mercy and compassion--the very reasons behind why he sacrificed his only-begotten son to save a race beings that did not deserve to be saved.

Welcome

Welcome to our updated website. We have upgraded to Squarespace for web hosting. Squarespace's interface is much more robust, allowing us to post our articles directly on the website with an elegant design.

As time moves on, we plan on posting various blog pages, each dedicated to specific topics. This particular page will be a general comments page where we will post any updates and comments that don't fit into any of the other pages.

We will be allowing comments on our blog pages; however, the comments section is not intended for debating. The purpose of the comments sections will be for community building and encouragement.  We recognize that we may not be the only people that Jehovah is using to advance his purpose, and so if you feel you have something to contribute, please feel free to email one of us via the following email addresses: brian@jehovahsword.org, tara@jehovahsword.org, and lillie@jehovahsword.org. Alternatively, you can use the email link at the top of the page, which is directed to sitemail@jehovahsword.org.
