As I mentioned previously in the main comments blog, this blog is dedicated to answering questions and misconceptions about Christianity held by non-believers. We may also address from time to time counter-arguments from people who call themselves Christian but do not actual know the truth about God or what the Bible teaches.. The focus of this blog will be tearing down these misconceptions about Christianity and God, and the Bible, and replacing them with the truth. These aren’t going to be things that form the foundation of Biblical principles, those were pretty much covered in “Biblical Doctrine.” Rather, this blog is going to address more academic arguments that are brought up by non-believers, and the embarrassing counter-arguments from nominal Christians that are born out of ignorance of the truth. Some of the topics discussed may touch on what was covered in the Biblical Doctrine article, but the purpose of this blog is not specifically to re-hash those issues. You can think of this blog as an informal “Reasoning from the Scriptures.” If you’re unfamiliar with that reference, it’s the name of a publication that was put by the Watchtower Society that similarly addressed issues brought up by other religions and atheists. I’m not going to go out of my way to address every single issue out there in the world, but as they come up in my travels across the Interwebz, I will present and respond to them here.
